What level will I achieve?
The TV language course will help you learn basic German. However, it does not lead to Level A1 or Level A2. The multimedia language course facilitates systematic learning.

You will not reach the required level for the exam just by following the TV language course on its own. In addition, you would have to attend a course at your local Goethe-Institut, which will be glad to be of assistance.

Will I get a certificate?
You do not get a certificate.

Can I continue studying at the Goethe-Institut following the course? At which level?
Of course you can continue studying at the Goethe-Institut. You would have to take an entry-level exam to ascertain the level that is best for you.

Are there any additional materials? If so, where can I buy/order them?
A work-book and video tapes accompany the course. You can order them here. Please ask at your local Goethe-Institut, whether the materials are available in your country.
